LeadOutcome Review: Part 3 – Marketing Module

LeadOutcome Review: Part 3 – Marketing Module

Marketing Module Overview

The LeadOutcome marketing module is where you set up all of you emails, landing pages, image or document assets, and email themes.

1-Click Emails

1-Click emails are what they sound like.  Single emails that you can send to your leads.  They may not be a single click as the title would imply, but they are pretty quick and are a great way to send template emails to prospects.  You can even use these as components in your campaigns.  You can assign categories like in the lead module to keep all of them organized and easily accessible.  These can be triggered by lead capture forms or smart pixels.

Email Campaigns

Email Campaigns are a series of emails that you put together and send out on a schedule.  You can manually assign a campaign to a lead or use smart pixels to trigger them to be sent out from a lead capture form.  Campaigns can be chained together as well so you can sequence multiple campaigns.  We will talk about this later when I talk about some of the pre-packaged campaigns like the Forever Follow-Up Campaign.

Landing Pages

Landing Pages are the next item in the module.  If you are familiar with what these are already, then just skip to the next section.  For those who don’t know.  Landing pages or squeeze pages are single focused pages that are usually focused on a single action that they want visitors to do when they end up there.  That could be watching a video, a free download, or collecting information for the visitor.  These are best used to collect information and then can be used with the 1-Click emails to send an email automatically to someone who has filled out a form to receive an ebook or some other piece of content.  These are hosted by LeadOutcome from their infrastructure.

Image & Document Library

This is where you store any assets you are using on your landing pages or pdf’s etc that you need to use.

Email Themes

This is where you would keep all the themes you are using with your marketing efforts.  You can have multiple themes depending on what you are promoting.  Great for internet marketers who may be promoting multiple products and want a unique theme for each product or a marketer who is sending email on behalf of multiple clients.

Variables

With variables, you can define custom information specific to your account and insert that information across all of your LeadOutcome emails and landing pages.

Rules

Rules are there to help you automate your sales funnels. With rules you can automate activities to be performed when various events occur throughout a leads life cycle. Only people who have purchased a campaign kit author module can create rules currently.

Marketing Module Deep Dive

1-Click Emails

As mentioned previously you can add categories to your 1-Click emails to keep them organized.   Categories just need a name and a description. LeadOutcome separates content that has been purchased as part of a campaign from content that you’ve created.

LeadOutcome 1-click categories

LeadOutcome 1-click categories

when you click into a category you will see all the emails contained within.  You can see the names as well as the statistics for them.  You can see number sent, open rates, if a link was clicked in the email, unsubscribes, and reported as SPAM.  You can create copies of emails, delete them as well as reset the stats by clicking on the gear on the far right.  Clicking on the plus sign will show you some summary information.

LeadOutcome 1-Click Email Preview

When you create these emails you can choose subject, the reply address if different from the account address, increment the lead score, choose the email theme and give a description as well as follow-up guidance and choose to share with the team.  This is great for salespeople to share emails that are working with the rest of the team.

LeadOutcome also has a WYSIWYG editor and supports variables and most of the tools you would expect in any email editor.

Email Campaigns

Email campaigns are organized in a similar way that 1-click emails are, except that instead of categories you organize by campaigns.  You can see similar statistics like how many leads are assigned to a campaign, open rates, unsubscribes, spam, that are aggregated at the campaign level.

Clicking into a campaign will give you a listing very similar to the 1-click email screens.

LeadOutcome Campaign Components

Campaigns can be chained together and you can choose the next campaign when setting up the campaign..You have three different types of campaigns, step, event, and Repeat. Step steps through all the emails, event sends on a specific date, and repeat you can set the frequency of repetition (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly), number of times, or you can make it go forever.

Landing Pages

LeadOutcome allows you to create landing pages based on templates or create your own completely customized landing pages which are hosted by them.  LeadOutcome will provide statistics on visitors, views, and successful conversions of those pages.

You can also create multiple version of the same landing pages to test out various designs and copy.

Image & Document Library

There are a few limitations on what you can upload here.  No videos can be uploaded.  If you need to put videos on a landing page you can upload them to YouTube. or a similar video hosting service.

Email Themes

Just like the landing pages there are some pre packaged themes you can use or roll your own.  You can use these in conjunction with your 1-click emails and email campaigns to have your emails look professional when that is required.  You can go on fiverr and get a template done fairly easy.

Next we will take a look at the integration module
